Dont ask why I need a 5FT when I have a 4 and 6FT but I do.

About the only thing a 4' ladder is good for is interior painting.

At one point we had about six spread out over 3 different jobs, we use the fours and fives daily. Way easier to maneuver than a six if all you need is a four.

I use the 4' all the time for inside work. Alot easier to move around. If I saw a good buy on them, I might get some more. Using them as gifts is a great idea.

A 4' will do 90% of interior work and they are light and compact, love my 4' ladder.

I like my Makita 4350FCT (corded). Powerful, well-balanced, soft start. I'm sure the Festool/Kapex folks will be along shortly to tell you if it isn't one of those high end tools, you might as well just use a hatchet.

Just go ahead and buy a carvex, plus the accessory kit!!! It really is a great jigsaw
Honestly if it wasn't for my insurance replacing and upgrading my stolen stuff I may have not bought the carvex.

Gee, what kind of insurance do you guys have that makes it advantageous to have your stuff stolen?

Re: Black Friday: What's Everyone Looking To Get?

We keep two Werner platforms, two 4' ladders, and 1 Werner folding/extending ladder on the trailer. 4' ladders are our go to since we do interior work a lot. Unless the ceiling is higher than 9' you don't need anything bigger.

Jigsaw you can get a trion about the same as a bosch. The Bosch is a good jigsaw, I still have mine even after I bought the carvex and sold the trion. Carvex takes a bit getting used too.

Used trion or Bosch would be you4 best bet for a decent jigsaw thats not real pricey.

Trion or carvex for sure. I love my carvex. I have a bosch too and i hate it. Js470e I think the model is. They make some good ones, but avoid that model for sure. The blade jumps all over the place and just doesn't cut square at all.
