True, I've been looking at them.

Just one more reason I dislike Dewalt/ Black&Decker.
I wish I had that 6" saw boss to keep this little sweet heart company as a token of the great tool manufacture PortaCable was With the proud sticker Made In The

Here's your chance, as long as you don't mind dropping over $300.

I like that sticker on my sawboss, "Proud to be made in the USA" not just "Assembled in the USA" or the other crap we are happy to get.

That saw makes me happy when I use it. Do you guy's think there would be a market for a Magnesium replacement base for $60-80?

Re: Another Great Tool Gone Thanks To Porter-cable And Dewalt..

I miss buying on ebay. But I got burned for a little over $900 on some tools that never showed up. Turns out he did it to several people at the same time. I used my credit card and got the run around for monthes trying to get the bill removed. And soon as they would remove it, the next month they would repost it again to my account. To stop short of going postal, I paid it and the bastards repost it again. This is easily the closest I ever lost it.

Thankfully my girlfriend used her much cooler head and got it staighted out. That was the last time I ever used e-bay. As for the credit card, i use one where I prepay ahead if I want to buy something that Greg posted a good deal on.

Have you seen the prices of DeWalt's new line of hand tools, essentially rebranded B&D tools? Out of sight!
