Brick Veneer On Foundation Only

We often use brick veneer on the foundation of vinyl siding homes. This presents anchor bolt placement difficulties, especially on slab houses or on the garage of crawl space houses.
To be clear, in this situation the exterior wall is sitting on the brick. In the past I have cut away the inside of the bricks where the anchor bolts go, and then bent the bottom of the anchor bolt in to the thickened slab. This is very labor intensive and a little sketchy, although allowed by local inspectors. I have considered switching to split face header blocks rather than brick.
Does anyone have a more efficient method of solving this problem?

Re: Brick Veneer On Foundation Only

Bending the anchor bolts is not a little sketchy,it is a lot sketchy. Even if the inspector is alright with it,it is a bad practice and if not mistaken, against code.

Depending on height of veneer, how about casting stab bolts into concrete brick ledge. They are longer and stouter.
