1/2 Story Steel Fire Escape Stair

For a local youth home.

***Scope of Work***
Supply and delver 1 stair/landing/rail combo and [not shown] 1 landing/rail/replacement treads combo.

Before you code mongers (I'm one, too, so chill) go nuts over the rails the Property Superintendent had already met with his local permits/inspections office and was approved to replace the stair 1)w/o any permits since it fell under maintenance 2) w/o any major changes- except replacing concrete filled [rusty] pans with galvanized Grip-Strut® plank and treads.

The grip strut works well for outside applications in snowy areas.

I sure would hate to fall down one of these stairs, though.

I don't know. Maybe you have to move to EBF?

(and thanks)

It got painted "warm grey", a Suzuki color. I used single stage Martin Senuor (NAPA's relabeled Sherwin Williams) urethane with fast reducer and hardener over a couple of coats of M.-S. acrylic ptimer/surfacer.
