Which Window Do You Prefer

So, Iím pricing out Andersen 400 series and Marvin Integrity windows. The price difference is literally cents. I canít say I have a preference one way or the other. I guess itís vinyl exterior vs. fiberglass. Iíd be interested to hear peopleís opinions. Thanks, Nick

What color on the outside? I have used the Andersen Fibrex windows for colored ones believe over the long haul they will hold up better then vinyl. Personally I not a big fan of Andersens, to boxy looking. Don't think hardly anyone builds a dark color one in vinyl anymore.

I agree. The fiberex will last. I think it's the same as Trex composite railings. I believe there Anderson shared with Trex. It's really a nice window. I just ordered 2-6ft sliders and 3- 3x5 dh for an addition . Energy and all that crap is on same level.

Also I'm not a window/ door guy by any means but we several additions and master sweet for roof deck access ECT. This will be 2nd Anderson package. I price the all out with a good high quality vinyl with optional upgrades and recommendations on house $$ ECT.

Re: Which Window Do You Prefer

Everything is bone stock white and primed interior

The fibrex Andersen is more $ than the 400 or integrity.

The vinyl of the Andersen will delaminate in 15 or 20 years.

Even if that weren't a factor I'd choose the integrity.
