Clad Windows

My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a "fixerupper". i am just asking opinons on the cheapest clad windows that we can get. We are mostly wanting to go with clad windows because of the color options.

From my little research it seems that the vinyl windows only come in white and maybe sand color. What's everyone think? These would be "replacement windows". i just got done installing Sun windows and really liked what I saw. Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks
Ben

I looked at the Geinow windows. But it seems as if you can only color the grills???

Most high-end vinyl windows offer wood grain laminate interiors, as well as endless exterior colors. Check out Gorell, Simonton, Softlite... Any will be superior to a clad product.

Re: Clad Windows

Geinow does an exterior cladded window frame ( complete ) with a hybrid interior PVC in white or any other color option. This allows for different expansion rates for the interior and exterior PVC. I have seen a home that was over 5 years old with the product. One thing I noticed was the cladding has no buckles as I saw it in the sunlight ( Black sash, frame & BM ) and the color still matches the original sample chip. Plus the home owner is pleased with the product. These are just my observations. Actual PVC coloring is another story that some suppliers stay away from except for white and light brown especially up here in the frozen Canadian winters.
