Belly Up To The Bar Boys.

Sorry for the dusty pics, sheetrock boys screwed up and left the place a mess.

I don't want to be rude and offend but..................
I don't like it. Very dark and splotchy. The top is kinda cool idea with the logos.

I hope this is taken as constructive criticism and not a jab at you or your work.

It could be the picks? IDK

I didnt do the stain on bottom, built it, and completed top. Owner was cost cutting.

I actually like it... if the logos were for beer companies, and in more of a random placement.

Great work.

I like it. I think being so dark a polished brass foot rail and brackets would have really looked good.

Yep, my thoughts the same about the blotchiness. The top looks real nice.

Re: Belly Up To The Bar Boys.

It brings a smile to my face to get even the slightest compliment from you guys. As i said, the owner is cost cutting, original plan had for me to do all work from design to finish. He cut that out because the town started a petition against the bar opening (located on main st).

So the design is mine, the build is mine, I completed the top including logo's. The top has 25 layers of water resistant poly on top so the logo's are actually embedded under the poly.

The placement of the logo's was his idea. I only wanted to do NFL and he added college and local high school logos, so had to kind of bunch them up.

I do agree about the blotchiness on the bottom, but it was his choice. I wanted it all done in the Gunstock used on top as opposed to the Red Mohogany he used on the bottom.

He is also going to use Pecan paneling on the walls which is also against what my choice would have been.

Next step, (I hope) is to do the mirrored back bar shelving unit behind the bar. Will keep ya updated on how that turns out.

Thanks again guys!
