Nice job looks good. I like your choice of grain on the nose piece in pic 11 6th one down. I did some staining on my work years ago for awhile & stopped because of the so many variations in color that can happen. It's a scary thing to have the HO complain about your work after the fact of staining. I enjoy my work too much to have to change it because of a color mismatch. I will stain for myself though. I agree your work destroyed that mantel, maybe suggest that to the HO.
