I know , seems like the only ones that get put on are the ones I do. In 20 years can't recall one being on when residing a house. Rare to see a new house with them too.

I guess they didn't want it dripping on the floor, you know, liability and all.
Can't have someone slipping on the floor, save that for IN the shower.

Guess my girlfriends shower should be here then. I can turn it on and get it warm without needing to be completely in it.

Lumber dropped off today for a deck over the slab work I did last week.

He told me he ordered #1 treated and they sent out #2. Only stuff the have. Might have been delivered yesterday, not sure, but seriously....

Hard to keep lumber from moving when it dries out on one side. Really common for our treated to arrive wet and shrink up a 1/4...nature of the PT beast.

Re: The Wall Of SHAME!

I'd say you were lucky to get any pressure treated lumber. It's in short supply due to the plants being shut down from the virus and homeowners building decks while they're stuck at home.

Re: The Wall Of SHAME!

You're right Rich. The lead carpenter was telling me the supply houses aren't selling any treated lumber to non account holders. And he really wanted #1 wood but all they had was #2.

He laughed and said I get this crap to work with and I have to make it look good.

Good luck! We always end up notching our joists to plane. I hate doing it because we all know it will shrink and counter the adjustment..especially if lumber isn't all "fresh".
