I wish I could find some of that 'invisible' transition they've used.

A bit of 3/4" quarter round and that'll be neatened up lickity split.

With that, we probably never would have seen it.

That's how it's done in this thread.

On my screen, it looks like may have just caught that wide spot on the return, although, that doesn't remedy the casing or door jamb... Or the transion.

I guess he didn't have a mitre saw, although there numerous ways to cut an angle. You do, have to be, at least a little lazy to get into this thread.

There are guys doing roofing around here for 40/sq labor on tear offs. There is no way possible to be in business and install at those rates. So alot of the guys who used to install are selling the jobs and having the cheap subs do the work so they can still turn a profit.
Its brutal out there. I looked at a repair this week that the customer had plastic on the side of the house for leaks but didnt want to pay 200 hundred bucks to replace a fascia and tar a metal buildings edge because they were afraid if there was greater damage they couldnt handle the cost. That was a money area too!
Later in the week I had a deck lead but 10 minutes into the meeting he's asking me where I buy from because he called around the lumber yards and noticed the cost was higher at a certain yard so if possible seperate labor in the estimate. People suck, you know dam well he's fishing information to do it himself yet if you dont give an estimate he may tell people he call your company and they blew him off.
Can't trust people these days, or can you?

Nope I don't break down estimates. I just walked away from a $50,000 bath remodel because of someone always trying manipulate every move I made.

Re: The Wall Of SHAME!

Yes, still fjp. It's less than 10 years old and in the locations it was installed, I'm willing to bet it would have been just fine if the cuts were primed.
