Plumbing Punched Through Ducts

I was in a house recently and the amount of pipe cut into ducts was insane. It looked like a lot of it was installs during the original build. How could this have passed inspection??

Wow. I guess that's their way of saying plumbing comes before HVAC.

That's supposed to be mastic, not sicone, and duct tape, not duck tape.

Apparently they couldn't find any floor joists

Probably a replumb, and the plumbing inspector had a good chuckle.
