I don't see any insinuation on my part that Tech was doing a sub-par job. I was simply expressing an alternate opinion of the products he mentioned. From what I can tell he does very nice work.

I'm not your little buddy, you don't sound like someone I would befriend.
Glad we cleared that up. Note to everyone. Using the wrong wax ring will disqualify you from being Ruby's friend.

You started it..

I do what I do and I'm successful I try hard to please my customers and I am never afraid to show my work. I am definately not someone that only shows the expensive jobs and comes off like a high roller
The job I'm doing here is obviously an upgrade and I'm using my plumbing parts from my supplier Thomas Somerville and they stock quality stuff!

Thanks for all the compliments

The closet flange is supposed to be above the finished floor, that is what caused your leak.

When the toilet is flushed and the water goes rushing through the wax seal and flange, it hits the plastic horn and causing a lot of excessive splashing around the wax. In due time, it will eventually cause a leak. There is no need for the plastic horn, ever. A basic wax ring is all you will ever need (if you have a good flange).

I guess people take their wax rings seriously. I prefer to disagree on things that matter, like mesh tape.

Yeah thanks. It started as an intro joke illogotonly conceived from a direct request from one of our rulers which requested we due exactly the opposite. There were (2) colperates including myself who were violently spanked and I was sent to my room for a bit because I talked back. I have since learned and hopefully moved on from that tragic mistake.
