Who's A Hot Dog Fanatic...

......,

Seriously .,,,,

I love hot dogs, big time!

Here is what I have tried....and you have to do them on charcole IMO...

I found this brand at my local Wegmans, Hofmann,....3.99lb....incredible.....you have try these ....
Salans .....2.90 lb ...good hot dog ...I used to get them all the time,,,you can't go wrong with these...

Then I found these JUMBO hot dogs for 5.97 for 5lbs....... I'm thinking they look good, but I keep looking at the price.....

So I said to myself,
It's only 6 bucks,,,,,

Well,
Just an awesome hot dog, huge,...and tasty......it's got some interesting ingredients, notably chicken...on the low fat compared to the others I mentioned...

I load mine up....chicago style, NY style, Louisiana style....

Summers ending, which is fine with me....I love winter...

Just was thinking about that today,,,,,

So tell me what's up with the dogs in your area....brand, price,....etc,etc,

TGIF,, what a busy week....

B,

I've known a few people who really loved eating hot dogs and other really bad food. They're dead from doing it.

Earl Campbell's are good, but they're more of a hot-link sausage...

There is a resturant around here, that has all kinds of different hot dogs on their menu. My favorite is the West Virginia dog. It's a footlong with chili, cheese and cole slaw. Mmmm.

I want to see a show of hands of how many people have had red casing hot dogs. Jordon's is the typical one here, but I don't know many outside of Maine who have even heard of one. They are yummy. The casing is pretty thick compared to regular hot dogs.

Must be natural casing to start with.

Personally, I like coarse ground all beef, but will accept some pork in a pinch.

Put on what you like.

Hebrews are good for standard availability. Best ones are from the local butcher.

When I really want to party, I splurge for nitrate-free bison dogs. Now that's yummy. Normally about $10/lb though.

Re: Who's A Hot Dog Fanatic...

Why is that so hard to believe.......

You have been rather critical lately, more so than usual ......

It's only a hot dog D...............blink:

But,

Some of them, depending on the way their made....are incredible.....

I like sauerkraut .....one of many options......

B,

Re: Who's A Hot Dog Fanatic...

I can't believe we have hotdog haters
It's almost unamerican to hate the hotdog
Doesn't it come from your favorite country of Germany
And yes sauerkraut rules either way it's spelled
