What's dippy? Oh yeah, btw, she's the blonde in the pic... She doesn't look that dumpy in person I don't think. Maybe I've just never really looked at her.

They painted the kitchen floor the other night so we haven't been allowed in there yet.

Re: When Someone YELLS AT YOU

Good Gawd she must be an "Artist" masquerading as a designer.

Worked with many creatives, designers and architects, even a few 'real' artists ... This is the kind to avoid like the plague. Unless you're getting hourly, have infinite patience and have no other jobs that this one will overrun/conflict with. Good chance the referrals you might get will be with even nuttier nuts than her. I see no up side, although looks like you got this one under control

Which came first, the wipits, or the paint job? Either way, that explains the wipits.

I do believe if I went in that place I'd be forced to go back to smoking weed

Looks like you need to smoke weed just to work there.

Re: When Someone YELLS AT YOU

Every time I go in there it reeks of weed... The business is going to be a selfie booth. It's kind of Genius really.... At first I thought that it was stupid but the more I think about it the more I think it will be successful. It's about 2500 square feet and the idea is that people, the selfie generation in particular, will go in there to take selfies with amazing backdrops.. this setup is completely black and white at first and slowly color is introduced into the black and white world... By the time you get to the end it is complete color. Much color. As you see in the kitchen with the rainbow floor.

There are about 5 hidden rooms that the people just have to discover for themselves, but there are Clues to the rooms all over the place. For example upstairs has a wall with several windows in it and one of the windows has a pulley system on it where when you open it, it pulls a curtain back at the top of the wall about 10 feet away and you can see the glitter waterfall from that window. so then the people will have to go back downstairs and try and find out how to get in that room.. I probably didn't do a very good job of explaining that but the actual setup is beside the point.

Re: When Someone YELLS AT YOU

with the amount of work being completed up there Id say they are on whipits, meth and weed. sTILL iM the only one that is anywhere near completion and I only put in about 15 hours a week at this place. Not just working on the clouds either.. Ive got other projects going on up there too.

so maybe yall can help with one of them. this chick wants a glitter waterfall. that's what you see in the middle of Dumpys brick walls..she's been struggling with how to do it for months now. She just bought a dust collector to use to cycle the glitter but the thing blows it so hard it doesnt look good at all. Plus its really loud. Ive been telling her she should put the glitter in liquid between the plexiglass and just cycle it with a pump or something.. but she hasnt exhausted the idea she has with the dust collector...
She has built some pretty amazing contraptions so she's not incapable of making this happen, she is just kind of in a hole on this project. ideally, the glitter will need to fall and be cycled back up again behind the scene to maintain a constant 'falling' effect.

I think it would be just as cool to have it moving all around but thats not what she wants. Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish that?

Sounds to me like the whole place is gonna be covered in glitter in no time.

Tell her to use sequins instead of glitter. Much heavier and bigger. Will fall instead of float. Just use a rubber conveyor belt to move them around.

Do I have to do everything for her?

What I find bothersome about your post, is that you know so much about sequins & glitter.

Basically, I know they exist. Mom use to use them a lot on projects, especially Christmas, when we were children.

Re: When Someone YELLS AT YOU

The glitter doesn't float.. not the size she's using and she's already bought about 30 lbs of it so she prob doesn't want to switch to sequins. It's supposed to be a glitter waterfall..and it's contained in between two pieces of plexiglass.. the conveyor belt is not a bad thought although I don't see that working without a lot of modification. But that's the idea...

I'm thinking she needs to make the plexiglass O shaped .. and just have air blowing in one direction. Would that work?
