I agree, any movie with an ak-47 in the shoot 'em scene is no longer a western.

Re: What Was Your Favorite Western Movie

A lot of really good movies mentioned already.

I'll throw in Quigley Down Under.

There are a few other westerns that Tom Selleck starred in that are pretty good as well.

Re: What Was Your Favorite Western Movie

Kind of wonder if the younger generations will enjoy westerns as much as
a lot of us have.

Anyways, been watching a seasonal series".Hell on Wheels".Takes place as the railroads are competing to cross the US,and the birth of new towns along the way, coupled with the pressure of keeping hired hands in line, holding off Indians, fighting sabotage.......
Good characters in this one.few seasons out on Netflix or check here:

Re: What Was Your Favorite Western Movie

Got to love the dusters.
Lee Van Cleef, cap and ball revolver, and a gun belt full of cartriges, who cares?
Winchester 33, about 37 shots without a reload.
I don't care how many times I've seen them, I'll watch them again

Even when I preview the youtube links it shows them embedded and then breaks. They can't fix this yet? We should have freakin' hoverboards by now!
