I first posted a question, a lot of a hole answers. But one person's answer helped me!!!!

I always look to that person's advice. Not the whore ****e advice from the "seasoned " contributors!!!!

Your "years of ****" amounted to just that

Re: What Keeps You Coming Back To ContractorTalk.com?

Was looking for quiet and light compressors.
This specific link popped up in Google Search:

https://www.contractortalk.com/f13/l...84/#post654113

Somebody (basswood) had done research and posted the facts.

I was impressed.

Re: What Keeps You Coming Back To ContractorTalk.com?

surprised this place is still around
pretty much every anonymous internet forum out there is on life support these days
every month or two I'll take a look around to see if anything exciting is happening
unfortunately it's the same twenty people having the same argument

I am working on my exit plan these days, should have a new life come spring. Contracting is truely the worst business out there.
I'll be in a bike shop in small town in the desert with a splif in one hand and no regrets in the other

Good luck on your new adventure.

This is why I am always on the lookout for a new local bar. After awhile, going to the same place every week, I realize I get tired of seeing the same boring faces.

And then I realize - they think the same damned thing when I walk in.

99 bottles of beer on the wall...

Re: What Keeps You Coming Back To ContractorTalk.com?

CT has given me a lot of new information (ideas/methods) that would have taken a lifetime to accumulate otherwise. That's how I got here, learning how to do a walk in shower correctly. I'm still waiting on the callback from the first one I did on my own, wrong , due to a poor teacher.
