Re: What Keeps You Coming Back To ContractorTalk.com?

I had an idea of putting together a trailer for my tools and to take from job to job. I'd never seen anything like. Did an internet search for some ideas and found this site. Also found out, I wasn't the first to think of it.

I stick around because most on here are just like me. Face the same challenges everyday and deal with the same people. From customers to employees, all the same.
If I post how annoyed a customer has made me, because they want to buy the cabinets themselves to save $300, people on here know the frustration.

I also see alot of situations that I have already faced and can contribute.

By the same token, I do do searches on random things to see how others handled a situation.

I've learned alot.

I don't do any other social media sites.

And, of course Cricket is a big draw.

Re: What Keeps You Coming Back To ContractorTalk.com?

Well, in real life I wear skinny jeans and a man-bun, ride a segue to work, and I work as an assistant in the technical support department of a research and advisory firm that consults with a consultation firm that advises investment bankers.

Real important $^&T here.

But when I'm online, I'm a CONTRACTOR, a real MANLY-MAN.

And we all know that REAL CONTRACTORS drive the girls wild.

So that's what I want be. Even if I have to fake it.

I'm gonna start my own Contracting Company someday. I'll be good at it, 'cause I have so much experience with paperwork.

And, I've replaced those little rubber valve things in toilets like at least 3 times, I nailed down some deck boards at my mom's house, and the guys at Home Depot said I could redo grout myself, it's super easy.

So yea, I'm all set up. And some of these jobs are 40K, 50K, EVEN 100K dollars PER JOB. So I'll be rich.

Apparently, I just show up here to be an Asshole.
