What Happened To Kowboy's Hot Thread?

Lots of responses. Obviously entertaining. I guess smut ruins the public image? I'll check hard hat but I think the CT thought police removed it

Didn't know, I muted it.

I don't know if it was real, or his self promotion of a novel of sorts..

Bummer, I think Kowboy is onto something with his writing. "Contractor tail" series might be viable revenue stream. Based on that thread.

Re: What Happened To Kowboy's Hot Thread?

Nah, we only read it because it was potentially a true story about a member. Take away the "acquaintance" or affiliation part, and it's just another romance novel most men wouldn't get caught dead reading.

Maybe I am just speaking for myself, lol.

I had a feeling that last post was gonna do it.

We should start a thread with our favorite definitions. I'll go first:

There might be an element of that, but I really believe it's image. It has happened before. The moderators could have moved it to hard hat but even there it's image.

I appreciate fair criticism, it's why I go to my writers group, but I don't think you can accurately compare creative nonfiction/memoir to the bodice-ripping fiction Gretchen from my group writes. The fact that both can be a private indulgence, for which none should be ashamed, is one of the few similarities.

I'll stick with sanctimony. Readers responded as positively as Tricia did.

Re: What Happened To Kowboy's Hot Thread?

I can appreciate good literary developments and art, just didn't care for the topic.

I may not have read the last post being I muted the thread, but when it comes to romantic encounters, it was more of the same to me. No amount of style/skill would have changed my perspective, me thinks.

Your skill is notable, however.

I felt the thread crossed some lines so I reported it as offensive and inappropriate. Glad to see the administration listens.

Snitch implies they did not know about the thread.

I just felt so triggered.
