Hospitalization rates for amount of people infected are down.

I think its a lot more testing, and more infected

It’s that simple. These mandates are not law. Laws have to be passed by legislatures. And only then can they be enforced. Look at Wisconsin, they were sued over all this and their State Supreme Court ruled they are unconstitutional.
a situation as Pin is describing can go south should it end up in court.

the judge can as for an "In Camera Hearing" where he/she can specifically ask you:

what is your disability.

how long have you had it.

is it permanent.

are you being treated for it.

who diagnosed the condition, how & when.

If I owned a store and I didn’t want you to smoke cigarettes in it or walk around without shoes, you would be kicked out.

If I insisted you wear a mask if you wanted to come in, you wouldn’t come in without one. My store. Not public property.

How many more people have died from lock-down advice, e.g., from cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, strokes, and suicide?*

Hire many critical illnesses have gone undiagnosed because of these restrictions?

Wasn't it you that 2 days ago, said you'd never vote for the Gov Abbot again because of the mask deal? Now because you know someone affected, you're whistling a totally different tune.

There's a reason I don't live in a large population area, I like my freedom & am less affected by the bull**** the rest of you put up with on a daily basis.

Haven't you heard, courts are not happening because of covid? Plus, we don't all live in liberal areas where everything is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

But speaking of courts, when this all shakes out, the courts will hopefully get involved & the Govt over reach is reigned in.

Half of our discussion is talking around each other. Of course masks catch water vapor....but to varying degrees.

Anyone that has ever cut concrete or worked in heavy dust...and then picked it out of their nose, knows how well they work for you.

I'll wear one if I want service from a place requiring them.

Re: Well Fark Me..

If you dont want to wear a mask is fine but there are other people in the store who have to be there to get supplies for their family at home or in the hospital who may have health issues. They would rather be with THEIR 12 YEAR OLD SON than have to worry they may catch something picking up groceries.

Coronavirus: hamster research shows effectiveness of masks ‘huge’ in Covid-19 battle, Hong Kong scientists say
Hamsters placed in adjoining cages with infected subjects were infected at a 66.7 per cent rate; the introduction of a barrier saw the percentage drop to 16.7
‘It shows very clearly that if infected hamsters or humans … put on masks, they actually protect other people,’ HKU’s Dr Yuen Kwok-yung says

You should actually read how that study was done.

"Surgical masks" were used.
The "virus" type was not indicated.
The experiment wasn't anywhere near real world human interaction nor typical mask use.

A mask partition was used to wall off the hamsters. The details of how that partition simulates human mask use practices were not provided.

Either masks work or they don’t. If you’re requiring them because they stop the spread then reopen everything. If they don’t work then the mandates are BS. Pick a narrative and stick to it.

See, you couldn't. HIPPA gets in your way. And I never said I had a disability. I just won't wear it all the time. You can go get fuqed

The Hospital CEOs in Texas are saying that the hospital rates are going up because of all the people that were denied or refused to go in because they were scared. They had problems that festered because of lack of treatment. Now they are all flooding the hospitals to get treatment for other ailments.

The push of fear mongering is amazing.

I agree. And I have complied (for the most part) with their stupid rules.

The only mask that has a chance of working are the silicon faced respirators that have been checked for fit on you. All other leak. If the virus can get through an N95 masks weave it certainly is going to get through the leaks in the side. Same with outgoing airflow.

If masks work, them wearing one should be fine. You walking by them breathing normally isn't going to be an issue EVER. More worries about people wearing masks, touching them and then touching merchandise right before you pick up the same thing they touched and then you have to touch a mucus membrane on yourself.

It's ridiculous to expect something to work perfectly.

The mask helps. It's more than nothing.

You ever get a nail through your boot? Yeah, me too. That doesn't mean I'm gonna start wearing flip flops on the job because the boots aren't a perfect solution.

Come on.

The rest of the nation is spiking because they're just now seeing it.
Luckily, we're learning more and dialing in our treatment. The new steroid regimen is working well.
The west and south are going to see better survival rates than we did on the East Coast. This is a good thing.
