Re: Well Fark Me..

Yes, seriously.

They have huge trials of all sorts of things to prove or disprove scientific things. But they say masks work to prevent the spread of a virus and not a single trial to prove any of it. The mask instructions state they are ineffective against viruses.

Where's the big test trial? Where are the thousands of people it's tested on? Where's the blind tests with controls? Or we just believe whatever the hell the govt says.

Masks are a mind control device.

The super spreader events have shown that not wearing them causes problems. 20X risk of catching it indoors at restaurants If someone there has it vs. outdoors with more social distancing. You don't need a formal study for that, since it's happening and they track the spread...unless you believe in Covid fairies or something.

It's not a big "ask". Choose to wear the mask. Don't be a wuss.

Re: Well Fark Me..

Catching it isn't dying from it. Testing positive for it isn't showing symptoms. The best thing that can happen right now is spread this far, wide and as fast as we can. The only way it's going to end is herd immunity.

What happened to flatten the curve? How did that change into we can't open til there's a cure? It's a virus. NOTHING is going to stop it but herd immunity. Staying indoors and hiding from it is only going to prolong the virus.

Not gonna happen. If I don't have the virus wearing a mask does NOTHING.

..And IF you do get it (hope not), and while you are still in the pre-symptomatic stage, you'll give/share it with others. Pretty basic.

Anyone wearing their mask will be protected from me, right? Because masks work, right?

You can wear your sheep cloth. It'll protect you. I'll wear nothing when I choose to.

I've already stated I'll wear it in stores if they force me to. If a client wants me to wear it I will. It's likely that they won't be a client of mine if they insist on me wearing though.

Because I don't want to. Pretty simple. Said it from the beginning...if YOU want to wear a mask, then YOU wear one. I choose not to, and I'm not going to.

Dr Scott Gottlieb is pretty solid. I recommend catching his daily morning comments on CNBC.
There is no "through this". It's not a disease, it's a virus. There will never be a cure. There will eventually be means to control it and treat it, but never a cure.

What youre claiming is anecdotal. I will have zero issue wearing one if I see some hard proof. There isnt a scientific paper claiming it as conclusively saying it works. Lots of people say it works, but all based on hypotheses.

My problem comes nit from the political side, or maybe it is I dunno. But it is not for or against a party in particular. My problem comes from Milgrims "Obedience to Authority" study. It is a huge problem.

The people who blanketly "listen" to what theyre told to do without concrete proof is what leads people to drag others to the gulags or jews to the ghetto. I cannot and will not listen to an authority telling me to do something for the betterment of society without something concrete backing it.

I have zero doubt its good intentions, and I dont fault those who listen, but I will he the person who says, "no" with love in my heart and a willingness to change if the proof bares itself out. Without it though, I cannot, and will not. The evidence just isnt there...

Wrong.

Those who wear a mask while they themselves are presymptomatic (translation for Leo: have Covid buy don't know it yet), will reduce the transmission risk to others.

Calm down and think.

I told you that you were stupid to not wear a mask? I only wore one a couple times with the client I was talking about. Not saying I dodnt tell you that, just dont remember it and figure there had to have been qualifiers in there.

Maybe it was a second glass of whiskey and trolling but I dont remember saying it was stupid to not wear a mask. Old, high risk clients, I still do think its stupid though if theyre uncomfortable with you not wearing one. Just out of respect of the fact its their home if nothing else...

Other than that my bewutiful face needs the world to admire it fully...

Thats my point, show me a scientific paper that directly studied this and came up with conclusive evidence.

If you wear your mask then you are protected from my asymptomatic transmission, right? Then you don't have to worry about me at all. Anyone else not wearing a mask is about as worried as I am about catching it.
