Hahaha, old habits die hard. I can look at a grease gun, load and unload a piece of equipment, etc and be dirty as hell lol. Checking forms, pipe locations etc... it gets easy to get dirty.. Lots of nice button downs ruined since becoming a truck ass lol. I think that particular morning I unloaded some forms. Probably all it took

Re: Totally Random Thoughts... (Part II)

what is the deal with everyone being a coach now? All over FB etc.. i see people becoming health coaches, business coaches, work out coach's, life coaches etc... and most of them haven't done anything! Lol.

One pf the life coaches ive known for almost 20 years, he hasn't done anything, litterally coaching full time on Zoom and getting monthly retainers from people. Another dude is unimpressive physically, just a regular dude, same deal. Uses Slack as a platform and has a group of people who pay him monthly for online health and fitness. The one that finally snapped me like a twig was a dude I know (from another state) who has an unimpressive business giving paid coaching calls on how to get your business going well!

So many questions. Do these people lie about their track record? Say i lost 400 lbs and ran a marathon, or my life was in shambles and now im rich, have a great marriage and great kids who are geniuses, or I built my business to 10mm overnight and now am rich as hell and living on an island? Or what? Who hires these people? What compelled them to be coaches? Do they feel bad offering advice? Lol

Between all the girls from high school selling herbal.tea or Rodan Fields or candles i wonder if people have professions anymore lol

What does living on a island have to do with anything

It's people with too much money hires them. Seems to be just another scam to make money with out working.

Neighbor's having an outdoor wedding.
May be a good night to go out back and make sure all of my rifles are still sighted in. Especially the loud ones.

If it's a one time family thing, good for them. If it's a venue, go for it. (the targets)

Re: Totally Random Thoughts... (Part II)

This was a) only funny in person, b) only funny to these two, but I had my lead guy and my client rolling yesterday. It was only sorta a joke

I showed up to a job and had to unload a bunch of material because the truck just showed up. My client happened to be there at the end and he said " john I'm impressed with how hard you work. I have seen over the years you doing all kinds of things that I wouldn't expect"

I said well Bill I appreciate that, but I think your mistaken.

Him - mistaken?

Yes. Mistaken. Like when I had to tear all your floors and trim out of your basement on the weekend before Thanksgiving because of that water heater leak (this has its own thread) and I put in a new floor on a Sunday, thst was because none of my men would answer the phone. They don't like to hear from me on weekends. (This is only partially true, I didnt call anyone)

My lead guy nods.

When I am up early sending emails its probably because I put something off or got woke up early because I just realized in my sleep a mistake we made

More nods.

Other times its just bad scheduling. (More nods from lead guy)

Him- bad scheduling?

Yep. Bad scheduling. Now take this truck. If I had known this truck was coming I'd of been else where. No need for me to be here. Like a race horse pulling a plow. Best to leave to the hands right Tom?

Tom - yep I had some bad scheduling too.

Bill, ill take any opportunity to be lazy. Thats why I take care of the big picture, right tom?

Yep. John's good at the big picture.

He must not get out much or have buddy to read each other, I thought he was going to bust a seam
