You take that picture from your space shuttle? You get any closer and you'll be on the other side.

I guess that is a waxing moon, right? Because the dark area is on the left?

I have tried many times to take a picture of a huge rising moon always to have it look like a little white dot in the middle of a lot of black. I can never get the shot I want. Great shot 480! How can you do that? High tech lenses?

The moon, on average, is the same angular size as a dime seen at........................... 6'4", or a quarter at 8'6".

Lens is a Celestron 2000mm
