Tim Conway...RIP

Died today at 85 years old.

He was one of my favorites....truly a funny man.

I think he was best on the Carol Burnett Show.

Just saw that and came here to post. Sad, the greats are dying off every day now. Funny man, I enjoyed him a lot.

He and Harvey Korman would have me in stitches when they would get into it.
Those Carol Burnett re-runs are hilarious.

They were funny and didn't even have to try. Not many of those types left.

Conway was terrific.

I could never decide whether his best job was playing the dentist who shoots himself with novocaine, or telling the tale of the Siamese elephants. Or a couple of hundred other skits.

True comedic genius... when you can consistently make the other comedy legends you work with not be able to hold it in and bust out in laughter, you've got a gift...

Rest In Peace...

My two favorites. Harvey Korrman said in an interview later that he actually peed his pants at the Dentist skit, that Conway ad-libbed much of it, and the elephant tale, according to Vickie Lawrence, was another Tim Conway special...that no one knew what he was going to do.

I also would give honorable mention to the no longer politically correct Nazi interview with the Hitler puppet.
