Re: Things You Love & Hate

My childhood dentist liked to give the shot in the center of the roof of your mouth with no topical beforehand. I swear the syringe was one of those giant metal ones like we used to vaccinate hogs.

My current dentist is very good with it, but if it's just a normal cavity, or more likely repairing a filling that fell out, I just skip it.

Root canals? Shoot me up!

Re: Things You Love & Hate

A friend of mine had a dentist who was pretty rough around the edges, started giving him a shot and didn't have the ampule loaded into the syringe right so it started squirting the Novocaine down his throat; my friend started squirming to get his attention and the dentist, rather than asking what was wrong, muscled him into a headlock and finished the shot.

As soon as he released the headlock my friend projectile puked all over the dentist.

Re: Things You Love & Hate

Hate that I made a mistake by forgetting that I was gluing my plywood part with a curve to a pc of solid that was 3/4" thick. Instead of the total being 6 1/2 like it was suppose to be it was 7 1/4". So I had to recut the curve while it was connected to the panel and redo the edge tape, which is a pain to do on curves.

I like the fact that it came out better then it did originally.

Not me. Bought the truck in Aug 2007 with 3.7 miles on it.

Love that I'm selling a chit load of work even as I keep raising prices

Hate that I have no idea how I'm gonna do all this work and keep all my regulars happy.

You too? It is crazy. Just ran into an old friend, they are slammed as well. We are in work everyday mode starting tomorrow.

I hate work everyday mode. But I love having enough work I don't have to scrimp to get by for once, well at least once the money catches up with the work.

I've had my truck for 8 years and never knew it at the 77k mark. I'm inching closer to 300k And I still like it other than the fact that the electricians at the jobsite tried to rip off my bumper with their equipment trailer as they drove by

Primarily bluefish with some ladyfish and jacks mixed in. Put a small bluefish on a larger rod in hopes for a tarpon but no luck today.
