Re: Things You Love & Hate

So my cousin snapped a pic of this "therapeutic pulse patch" she uses to help deal with the pain of her broken/healing wrist.

And I say:

Yeah, I got cold feet and decided to just get what their final offer was so she doesnt have to be there for the negotiating process. That way I still have something to give her for Christmas but I dont have to get in a battle royals about how she didnt need navigation but did need apple CarPlay or some such thing.

My wife got a new car in March, went out today and turned the first 1.000 miles. And used the first tank of gas Ha Ha

I ended up going with the Hyundai. But, I decided to go and negotiate on a highlander too since I wasnt actually buying it. Both are comparative in price but I like the Hyundai better.

Nah, the 2020 Sante Fe limited is every bit as nice but a bit smaller and better priced.

Dont get me wrong, the Palisades were sweet but we have no use for another 10k for something that is just a few feet bigger with ****tier gas mileage. Captains chairs in the second row might cost me a bunch of money though

Edit, this was me and my wallets choice. When my wife goes to sit down after I made this determination I might be doing the negotiating thing all over but they told me they basically wont deal on the Palisades at all. She really wants captains chairs in the second row. I'm hoping she sees the cost and sees it my way...

Re: Things You Love & Hate

Speaking of things I love and hate...

Christmas.

Love the holiday, hate what it has become. My kid got a tongue lashing tonight for not thanking his mom for his PJ's she gets us every year. It's her thing. She gets us PJ's and we all wear them to Nana and Papa's house. She puts a lot of thought into them.

He got butt hurt his weren't "super comfy" and I got pretty upset he wasnt playing ball with Mama bear. Next year might be, no presents and serving the poor instead. I refuse to let my kids grow into the selfish little assholes I've seen so often throughout my lifetime.

Also, I love and hate that this Santa is going to go set up a trampoline at 9 at night...

Did you let him know you could take him out.
Then just make a replacement.]

It was from a Northern Tool chrome-moly set that I bought new about 10yrs ago. Not really a cheap socket.

If it's a socket you use often it probably finally gave in to fatigue. 10 years ain't bad.

Probably, fatigue and being viciously hammered on trying to get those cutting edge bolts loose.
I had another one from another set, so was able to keep going, I'll warm the rest of them up with the smoke wrench first though.
