Taking a soda out of my cooler from the truck and it has ice crystals in it.

Love that the soda is cold. Hate that it's cold because it's 3F out.

Wouldn't the cooler actually be a warmer under those circumstances?

Yes it would. That's why I had soda and not a chunk of ice.

My 6 bottles of iced tea did not make it through the cold, all froze and broke. Luckily they were easy to pick up while frozen

That's how the fridge works in my unheated garage.

Just a note that many newer fridges will not work below 32 deg unless they have a heater. Customer lost an entire shipment from Omaha Steaks, once it stopped it would not restart. Lost a month old $1500 fridge and a load of steaks.

Re: Things You Love & Hate

Yup I read that in one of my clients new fridge. Said it might not maintain temperature properly below 60F

How stupid is that?

Re: Things You Love & Hate

OUCH!

No worries here, that thing is ancient, it has no problem running, even with sub-freezing exterior temps.

Mostly booze and mixers and some over-flow. Some stuff in freezer.
The worse thing, when it does finally go, will be getting it out of there.

Re: Things You Love & Hate

the part to make it work below 60 is $40 but on the cheaper units it is not adaptable

In the installation instructions ( for a fridge ??? ) is says not suitable for garage use in cold weather climates

CC got hacked

Bank caught it and they got nothing.

Now I'll be cardless until Monday at the earliest.

Hope I don't need any business stuff. Gonna have to get groceries with cash.

When you're in a hurry and you lock your keys in your car, along with your phone and your wallet! :-/

When you call your mom and she gets ahold of your insurance company and they have somebody to come out and open your car for free!

Happened to me a couple months ago. Bank called me about 9 A.M. and wanted to review my purchases for that day.

"Marathon gas for $45?"
"Home Depot" for $16?" Yes
"Home Depot for $33?" Yes
"Best Buy for $1800?" Uh..... I don't think that was me.
" Travel agency for $3300?" Uh... No! I think I would have remembered that.

Luckily, I have a few other cards available for use, and my employees also have cards that still could be used.

Hate that my dogs neck is 3 times it's normal size. Love that it's not life threatening and more than likely a clogged salivary glands and will resolve on its own.

Re: Things You Love & Hate

The thing that sucks the most is remembering to move all those automatic payments to the new cars number.

I prefer to have everything go to my CC then just make one payment. When ever I have to get a new one there is always one or two services I miss updating.
