This is the one I have, the safety pin is about the size of 12 ga wire. It came off the ladder when I had the ladder pitched too steep and the standoff was on the edge of the roof. I think it was a combination of the soft ground and the pitch of the ladder.

Iíve got one of those , I rarely use it , donít like the way it rattles around .

The u-bolt ones are a pain to put on but , are much more solid

I keep them on the 2 ladders at all times. I have other ladders I can use if not needed. I always check the bolts and nuts before climbing.

Biggest problem I had was the tips coming off. Silicone took care of that.

Gave a tube to my friend several years ago the day before he was going to a wedding, told him not to get it on his hands it won't come off. Now he knows it won't come off. He even tried sanding his hands until they started bleeding.

MSU v Oregon.

Well that was just plain sad.

I'm still looking for the love part.

I didn't think it was sad at all. I do think we should have hung 30 points on them.

yup. All Oregon had to do was show up. MSU handled the ball like it was their first date ever.

When a customer has enough decency to call to let me know they aren't home.

Hate that they know they had a 3 hour window for the install, thus you should be home during that 3 hours. I confirmed the window with you, that doesn't mean go out and do stuff and tell me you will be back within that window of time.

This is how your entire day gets off track.

I love westerns. It wax an amazing assemblage of actors.

But:

The plot was dark, and ended in a very unsettled way.

I don't remember if I've seen it and the description at IMDB was to short to ring any bells. Have you seen Gran Torino (2008)? I thought that it was good.

Yes, watched and started using "get off my lawn" before the rest of the world made that into a meme.

That the bit in my dovetail machine is exceedingly dull and I have to change it out.

That it only took 2 tries to get the perfect setup. The last two bits I setup took 10+ tries before it was perfect.

Re: Things You Love & Hate

Love- Just realized that as of January 20th been in business 30 years

Hate- Still doing this chit after 30 years.

First 10 years was in Dallas doing industrial and commercial with a crew ranging from 10-30.

Last 20 in the Texas Hill country doing residential with a crew ranging from just me to 5 employees, mostly me and 2.

Not near the money I made the first 10 but a much better way of life.
