Re: Things You Love & Hate

I love hearing my 105 y.o. grandmother pulled out of surgery and is doing ok. Hate that she fell down yesterday and broke her hip in several places.

A rod was put in with several pins. She'll have to go to a resthome home to recover, she is not going to like that nor is my aunt who takes care of her.

I hope she heals up soon as possible . My Grandmother passed away at 99 and 11 months old . I sure wish I could have gotten more stories out of her than I did .

4 year old Mr. Coffee maker died at 4:30 AM. Luckily some left over from night before.

Just plugged in a new 16 dollar Mr Coffee maker. popped the lid on a new can of Yuban.

Coffee tastes so much better. And we're back to a decent 7 minute brew time for a full pot.

So I brew 1 pot - but then realize this is the REALLY el cheapo model that doesn't even turn off after 2 hours !

So now I will have to got to real store and a REAL coffee maker.

UGH !

I like the Cuisinart because no filters. Maybe others do that to, I don't know.

Bought my mom the same set toonfor Christmas

I owe her. Her and my dad bought some badass soligen blades when we were stationed overseas when I was a child. I use them for everything from gutting armadillos to throwing them into dartboards as a child. LOL
