Mine must be broke because it's actually got less annoying as time has gone on. Maybe I just got used to it and make sure I do what I have to as to not have to hear it

If you hit the snooze button for an hour it won't go off anymore.

I use my phone. It wakes me up with a female voice giving the local weather, then the news and then sports.
It gets progressively louder until you hit snooze or off. I have to physically get up to turn it off.

No landline here.
It's programmed to not make a sound or light up or anything after 10 PM until 8 AM...unless it's a starred phone number or an alarm.

Landline ringer is off upstairs.

My son got locked out of the house because I put the bolt on. He called, rang the bell, left messages, texts....

He slept in his car

Re: Things You Love & Hate

I do some handyman work for a Woman's Boutique store chain. Anderson hooked me up with the job (thanks!) I go to the stores and do simple things like change light bulbs, fix drawers and doors. Change out ceiling tiles and maybe fix some holes in the wall or words scratched into the furniture.

Got one that I have to clean the HVAC vents. Simple, probably take me more time to get there and back than to do the job, love that.

But it's in the mall. Not looking forward to that. Last mall I did was in Danbury and just finding the store was a pain.

But they let me charge them and arm and a leg for my services so I'm not going to complain to much.

The Office.

I love the whole series. I hate that it's not longer.

My daughter's favorite show. She even had a Dwight bobble head.

I thought The IT Crowd was a funny show, for those that like dry British humor.

One of my kids turned me on to that show... never heard of it before... stupid humor but rapid spit-fire with enough good ones in-between to make up for the ones that fell flat...

When a buddy stops by at an inopportune time like when your trying to do something and wants to chat....

When he puts an ice cold beer in your cup and gives you a new cigar he just found. Haha!
