Things You Love & Hate

I really don't care much about collecting "Bonus Points".

So instead of posting the same thing in the "Things I Love" or "Things I Hate" threads, I thought I'd save a little time here.
I doubt I'm the only one, but I'll start.

A sudden cloud burst on hot sunny day;

I love how it cools things off during the approach and the 20 minute downpour.

I hate how humid it gets 5 minutes later.

D.

I'd love to catch a yellowfin. I'm not so big on fish that aren't good for anything but mounting.

Are you implying marlin are not good to eat? If so your most likely over cooking. If you cook marlin right it's great but is also the easiest fish I know to overcook.

I've always heard they're trophy fish, not good to eat - but I'll try anything that's not poisonous. Maybe that's just big blue marlin?

Swordfish is pretty fire, one of my favorite fish. Is it anything like those?

Now that I'm getting down to salt water, my new targets are mahi mahi, pompano, redfish, snapper, shark, and the bait to catch the above. Shark get released

Both marlin and sordfish are among the fish with the highest levels of mercury.

To each there own. For us catching sharks is annoying, They keep stealing fish we want to eat and are responsible for the majority of the gear we lose bottom fishing.

I would never order Marlin in a resteraunt unless it was fine dining by a true chef. It's that easy yo overcook and it becomes tough. I would say its a bit like regular swordfish in taste but swordfish with the pink meat.......that is the Shiznit! I don't know if its a different species or different diet but its uncommon and I LIKE IT.

Cheers, Jim

Love getting that contract signed and getting that payment, only realizing I'll have to do all that work to get the other payments

Young, pretty, Dental Hygienists;

Love the way they climb all over you while they work, (if ya know what I mean, ).

Hate when they start scraping under your gums.

Of course, the love far out weighs the hate.
