My sisters new to her lake house. I'm not big on most lakes in Florida, usually muddy bottom and nasty like a swamp. This lake is clear with a sugar sand bottom.

Kids absolutely loved it and I really enjoyed just relaxing and watching them go tubing with their cousins after I helped them fix a few things. Good times.

Now it's back to the slave trade of getting my own house ready... ugh.

They ain't a problem. I grew up swimming in a lake that al.ost always had a gator in it. Just dont want to mess with them during breeding season. Other than that, they'll pretty much leave you alone.

Wow great seats!

This week was the best of the spring yet. Great week to put the pouch on, turn the tunes on and go at it.

A two night "camping adventure" in my nieces back yard.
She lit her first fire...made her own Smores.
Had grilled chicken legs that she said she wouldn't like...but liked...
Stayed up way past her bedtime
Had fried bread and bacon Saturday morning and cinnamon buns on a stick this morning.
Life is good.

Thanks. Yup...it really doesn't take much to put a smile on a kid's face.
Last week I changed out 4 windows. I was on my way home with the lift and thought I'd drop by her house.

Secured her in and took the lift up 35'. She was ecstatic. Brought it down to 10' and let her "drive" it.

She's still talking about that.

And you were just talking about it so proudly recently too. Must be that man lift and you have taken on a deeper relationship. Not that I'd ever go that high in one myself - either way. Nope. Not A chance.

LOL Being that high in the manlift is one thing, ladder not anymore.

If can't do it with the manlift , it is not happening anymore.

Re: Things I Love (2)

If I didn't have a 40', I'd be hanging off the roof.

I could use one more like 50' or so, but I can't set them solo.

Closest I ever came to killing myself on a ladder I was maybe 6' off the ground.

If I'm good to go up a ladder, I'm good to go up a 40' one. Weird stuff going one, I just stay off all ladders.
