Sending your pics to my little bro. He's a walleye nut for Lake Huron and needs the incentive.
Just heading in, 16 more today for 41 cohoes total. We have a lot of cleaning to do..

Sent him the pics. He only fishes walleye. He's a freak. Last year by this time, he'd been down river from Lake Huron with a childhood friend and maxxed out 45 minutes after launching the boat.

This year, he suddenly got some major health headwinds, so I'm hoping the pics keep him motivated.

Re: Things I Love (2)

In a weird twist of animal justice a poacher found his end in a South African park.

A man suspected of being a poacher is presumed eaten by Lions and Trampled by an Elephant after only a skull and a pair of pants were remaining in the area in which he was left. This happened in Kruger National park. The statement is from the South African National parks.

The man entered the park on Monday with four others allegedly to target endangered Rhinos. This is according to the park service.

Did you do your own home inspection or have someone else do it?

When I bought my house I did the final walkthrough with the GC and he was not happy that I was testing everything and anything and taking my own notes. Kept insisting we needed to go faster he had other things to do

Then he should have gone and done them. I always let my buyers do their inspections without me there.

Someone else will do the inspection for legal purposes but I'll be there with them. The guy is a certified home inspector which doesn't mean much on its own (anyone can get that certification without ever working in construction) but he's also an experienced tradesman and ticketed plumber so it's money well spent.

On my way home, late, last Friday, on phone with wife out with girlfriend; yada, yada, yada, you should see the body on this girl shooting pool...

Couple minutes later, she sends me a picture and text with google eyes and Happy Birthday! (Saturday)

So needless to say I fore-go dropping off the 40' ladder (it's dark anyway) and meet them for a cocktail, then she offers me her seat facing the pool table. (should have taken it) It was a little awkward pretending to watch the game.

Now that's Love!

Wait… Wait… Wait! You’re on the phone with your wife while out with your girlfriend?

Come on D... How are you able to pull that off?

Really? That would piss me off to no end. If I sweat 100 I expect all of them to be perfect.

Re: Things I Love (2)

Not really. Clean it with sandpaper or a brush for ID, flux both sides, heat the pipe near the joint but not the joint itself. Tap the joint with the solder until it starts to melt and when it does lay the solder over the joint and let it melt. Wipe the joint with a damp cloth after about 15 second. Easy peasy.

Helps that I took electronics in high school and soldered tons of circuit boards. Same concept.
