Re: Things I Love (2)

I've taken many rides with those. Used to use them for drilling pins in log homes. Nothing like having it bind up 8 feet in the air on a wet and frozen log when using a 2 foot auger bit.

I have two of them. Dont use them though. These days I think it would just rip my arms off. I don't stretch quite like I used to.

Re: Things I Love (2)

When my local competitor, who ive never met before, decides he only wants to do the small easy stuff and recommends me for the nice big money makers. Picked up a couple new builders too.

If I get this job tomorrow Iím gonna give him a call and let him know how much I appreciate it and find a way to do something nice for him. Maybe throw him some green

Met with the partners who are the builders this morning. Theyíve been friends with the other gutter guy for 30 years. Say heís too fat to do these types of jobs now lol. I drove by a job he was doing over the summer. He had his shirt off and gut was hanging real low.

Getting ready to send the estimate. Itís an $11,000 gutter and gutter cover job. This other guy works much cheaper than I do. Hope they donít get sticker shock

I love that the day and night time temps are between 65 and 78 for the next couple days

Perfect right now, 65į slight breeze, perfect for open windows at night... Days won't be too sweaty either, nice...

Weather should be breaking soon for you northern boys too right? December and February really is our greatest month of weather.

The gutter cover costs more than the gutters and downspouts combined. But itís about 700í of gutter and downspout total Very easy job. Long runs 4/12.

Not uncommon to get a snow storm here in late May. Think we have even had snow every month of the year, here. LOL

My client texted me from Big Sky last week, they go a couple times a year. He says, "she (his wife) keeps saying how you could do so well up here, everything is wood. Then I reminded her what you wear to work in Jan/Feb and she realized you could work for about 2 months here."

The only white stuff I see often is beach sand.

10F and dropping outside, 76F and rising in the house. Woodstove is just idling along @ 800F, I'll probably cut it back some more.
