I had 10-12 quality brushes that were latex-covered and as hard as rocks...some a year or two old.

I read a recent post about using Klean Strip brush cleaner and bought a gallon.

Spent maybe a half hour with all the brushes and they are like new...ready for the next use.
This is awesome news. I read that same thread and picked some up the next time I saw it in the store. FINALLY cleaned out my truck which had about a dozen neglected frozen brushes in it. One of them could not be saved with conventional weaponry. About to test out the Klean Strip stuff. Really excited about it now.

Also a dead guys will and some expired airline vouchers

Back in September, we went to San Diego to see my son-in-law get “pinned” as a Chief Petty Officer. Man was I proud.

This is my daughter “pinning” him.

Here he received his new “cover”.

Shortly after the promotion, he reenlisted for another six years. This was the swearing-in ceremony.

And in his new whites.

Unfortunately, right after his promotion, they’ve been reassigned to Guam. That will be a $6,000 round trip flight for Mrs. Da Vinci and me (18 hours). The golf better be good there!

I've got a nephew in the Philippines on special assignment. He's got a pregnant wife living on the base at Camp Pendleton. The wives are hero's as well.

Trappist Rochefort #10...

If you guys have not had this do yourselves a favor and get it. It's a really spendy beer at like 50 bucks a six pack but it's flipping amazing. I only treat myself to this once in a while but it was calling to me tonight. Tried it with some grilled pork and asparagus, perfection.

It is bar-none, (and I don't say this lightly at all) the best beer I've ever drank. Dad introduced me to it a while ago and the wallet curses him for it but my taste buds thank him for it

Actually the best beer I ever drank. That's a big statement if you knew me.

It is THE BEST.

This is why I love Michigan. I cannot explain it to someone any other way.
