You guys have no idea about bed impressions.lol. I spent 22 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 3 years in bed. Thing was destroyed. If I laid on it anywhere I’d automatically end up in the indentation

I misread that as "torch", so I was a little let down after I read the story

Re: Things I Love (2)

I have once again survived one of my wife's work trips. This was a long one. 10 nights.

Kid is in bed. She is in bed. Wine is uncorked. I made it. Wish it wasn't so f'n cold or the victory cigar would be lit.
That reminds me, the very very first time she went away on business was 8 years ago this month. She was gone for almost three weeks and the first night she was gone my friends and I smoked cigars in our apartment since again, it was really f'n cold out. It took, I kid you not, one day shy of the three weeks to air that place out and have it not stink of cigars. This was with windows open every day and relentless Febreze binges.
Man those suckers stink.

Hah, absolutely. I pick her up from the airport and drive her straight home so she can sleep for the next 24 hours. It's something of a routine we've got. She'll probably be a normal person again by Wednesday.

You grew up in Corpus? How'd you end up north?

I'm a Navy brat. My Mom was stationed at the base in Ingleside.

I lived in Portland on the other side of the bay from Corpus.

I was born in Key West,... we moved to Seattle, Anchorage, New Orleans, Corpus Christi, then to Memphis.

I initially came to Michigan to meet my dad.

The battery companies will buy the patent for some ungodly unresistable amount and then shelve it. Subsequently LiIon battery prices will increase by 5%.
