Re: Things I Love

I love seeing people get pulled over by the cops when they blatenly break the law.

e.g. Speeders doing 40 OVER the limit.. people who ignore school bus stop lights.. red light runners.. etc.

Pulling up on a bare foundation, leaving with a well built beautiful home, the way my lady looks at me (sometimes), telling my girls no problem & telling my 5 year old son no boy you'll be better when he tells me he's going to be just like me. Perfect

Re: Things I Love

Camping and hiking at Caprock Canyon in West Texas last weekend with my two boys.
Also had three of my best friends and their boys with us. 4 dads with 7 boys, all under 7 years old.
Boys went to bed both nights completely worn out and filthy from climbing and riding bikes and rolling around in the dirt all day, but had a blast.
Was 32 degrees one night. Best sleeping weather ever.
I loved every minute of it.

Re: Things I Love

Loved giving out 30 bags of candy tonight one piece at a time to some pretty cute an creative costumed kids. I try to make them say "trick or treat". One adorable shy fairy princess came up and I asked her "what do you say?" then leaned down and turned my head to hear better. She leaned in and gave me a peck on the cheek and a big smile. Melted my heart. she got a handful.

I love chatting with inspectors.

They are usually so surprised to see me that they chit-chat about all sorts of stuff.

Love handing out candy for Halloween and looking up and seeing 5 kids around 7 or 8 in hardhats, toolbelts, and safety yellow t shirts strutting down the sidewalk. I about filled their toolbelts with snickers.

I love that I see our lone cop on duty weaving pack and forth around town handing candy out from his cop truck, and when I pull up past him and he waves at me, I notice he is wearing a pig nose as a costume.

sometimes at night or over the weekend I build up a problem on the job to be way bigger than it is. I love when I get to the job and discover there wasn't really anything to worry about.

Same thing happened to me last Friday. Got 2850 cash from my wifes aunt that has been owed for 3 months and 550 from another lady that has owed me since april. Both on the same day and they both called out of the blue. Nice timing.

Re: Things I Love

I love the holiday season.

Love handing out xmas bonuses. Damn good feeling.

I have a xmas party next week for my hands, subs, vendors and suppliers. All on us. Family invited. Doesn't get much better than that. Good feeling. A lot to be thankful for.

The crew/sub/vendor dove hunt is better than though.
