The bar down the road has Guinness on tap so cold that the first drink almost brings tears to your eyes

Re: Things I Love

Coming up the driveway and watching for my six year old to come running out to open the gate. Almost without fail he hears the dog bark when I'm coming in the first gate (which you can't see from the house), so he races out to open the second gate (up by the house) for me, and halfway up the driveway I see his hair blowing in the wind and bouncing as he runs over, yelling for me that he's got it. Tonight he knew I was close and ran about a quarter mile in the dark down almost to the first gate. Barefoot. Down a gravel road. Dodging the horses. Just cause he was excited to see me. Plus he knows I'll let him drive the truck on up to the house. Makes my day every time I get home...

Man, I come from a rasslin family. Grew up on it and raised my son watching it. Last year for his sweet sixteen I rented the evansville, in coliseum and the local wrestling companies ring. Greats like Jerry lawler and Jeff jarret have been inside that exact ring.

Here's a pic:

This year we met Jake the snake, hacksaw jim duggan, tatanka & others. One day we will make it to wrestlemania.

Re: Things I Love

right now I love that my GF is back home in good health and spirits. At the end of June I took her to the ER for a heart attack she did not deserve. Ended up taking her back to the factory(Japan) for repairs. She just flew back.

Re: Things I Love

The very idea of a things I love thread vs a things I hate thread !

Mother Teresa said anything we think and talk about and externalize we cause it to expand and extend itself.

Bottom line,if you like something talk about it.If you do not like something and you want it to dissipate do not talk about it.
