My uncle built a electric gear driven splitter. He has always been gracious enough to let me use it. I would rather freeze to death than split by hand.

Gorgonzola Dolce on fresh crackers, washed down with an ice cold beer.

Ahhh...ready for bed now.

That does sound tasty. Prefer Gouda or Swiss though.

I have a hydraulic splitter and a bad back. I do better hand splitting - makes my back feel better.

Re: Things I Love

I just found out I love this....caller dependent phone messages on Verizon for my Droid.
You can create 20 groups of individualized messages that the specified caller(s) hear when they call and you don't answer. So, you can create a custom greeting for your immediate family, friends, clients you have numbers saved for, etc.
With this comes room for 40 messages. If you want to clear them but don't want to erase them, you can save them to memory.
I use the MOTO options a lot while driving. The phone knows when you are away from home (GPS) and will read your messages to you when you play them back, plus, there is a text of the message that appears when you open your messages.
I used it this morning. A chap was supposed to help me wrap some windows (something I don't do) and I was supposed to get the material over the weekend. Nobody carried what I needed. I was scheduled to pick him up at 6 AM to head an hour away to the job. That would have meant a 5AM wake-up for me. Uhhh...I usually don't do 5AM. I called and left several messages for him that I wouldn't be picking him up at 6 AM. He didn't return my calls.
So, instead of getting his call at 6 AM, wondering where the hell I was, I recorded a custom message just for him explaining things and that I would contact suppliers when they opened at 7 AM.

It worked as planned and I got to sleep another 1.5 hours. Still didn't get what I needed until this afternoon but that besides the point.

I'm going to love this customizable message thingy.

Re: Things I Love

heading to Japan Thursday to Monday and the exchange rate is better than ever. planning on tearing into the sushi. Then bringing back some rocky brand dried salmon(skin on fillets) and Royce chocolate. If you ever travel thru Japan I highly recommend some Royce chocolate. Bring some home for your lady and your golden!

I'm sure having drywall dust blown directly in your face was great too.

I remember watching that movie at the Drive-in theatre. It was on tonight. Really brought back some old times. The year was 1976. I was 12.
