That really sucks Mike, we put ourselves at risk every day for our customers and something simple as putting up Christmas lights, Should be a reminder that we’re not so invincible!

Godspeed to a full recovery!

Damn Mike that's brutal, I went 13 years without serious injury then I fell through the floor of my own house while sistering up joists on a weekend and broke a few ribs.

I think we aren't in the same frame of mind when we're doing home projects and we throw caution to the wind.

Re: Things I Hate (3)

Been raining / snowing / sleeting for last 15 hours. Snow scheduled all day until late tonight. 3”-12” in the forecast depending on Location.

Roads are currently a mess. Text I received this morning from a scheduled multi family house that would take two days on the best of days. Held back from saying what I really wanted to say. So proud of myself lol.

Mike, what’s the surgery for? They’re not going to try to save your face, are they?

Get better! If you need something, I’m available to smoke a stogie for you or fill your foursome. You just let me know – I’m there for you.

Funny you mentioned that I told them I wasn’t worried too much about the bent beak. Then plastic surgeon came in an said he would straighten it while I was under anesthesia. They’ll be putting some screws in the hip, then Thursday they’ll do the wrist.

Well that's one way to get your post count up, hang around in bed all day thread watching on CT.

The trouble us older guys we no longer bounce like we used too the ground gets to be farther away to pick up stuff then once in a while one of us takes the quick route there

Hope to see you back on your feet soon and back to work.

Pretty sure his wife doesn't do snow shoveling.

Re: Things I Hate (3)

It a very old, very badly done extension onto the main driveway that was here when I purchased the house. You can see non paver blocks where I put a patio down 2 decades ago when I was unemployed for a good deal of months and was bored but couldn't really afford the right stuff (in my mid 20s).

Eventually I'm going to rip out the extension and put concrete there. But eventually isn't here yet.

Barter with a CT member....a concrete driveway in return for fine woodworking.

Leo's snow blower breaks so he puts the wife on driveway duty? You got her trained right.
