Re: Things I Hate (2)

Pharking insurance company calling the second time now wanting to schedule an "in home healthcare assesment". Then trying to deny they had already called about it and I turned it down. Told the young lady, that's 2 strikes, one more call about this and I will change ins. companies asap.

Used to matter... have come to the conclusion, they don't don't really give a rat's a**... you're a number now that can be replaced...

Truedat KAP. I like them for the most part but certain things I will not put up with and that is someone snooping around my house to see what they don't like that I'm doing. I figure after their visit they will say I need you to do this or that. Then it's what if I don't?

Man, that's a bummer.

We almost lost a few 60 plus year old apple trees this winter. They are laying sideways and we are hoping they will survive.

Unless it's too far gone, the wood is beautiful. Good for small projects.

If they didn't lose their roots, they'll stay alive.

We have a couple others that have fallen over though the years before we were here. They look odd, but still produce, so we are pretty hopefull.

It happens all the time in orchards. They keep bearing, but parts fed by busted roots may die eventually.

Got the opposite here. Expected it to be raining all day, it's sunny right now with some clouds just coming in. I'm sure by the end of the day it will be wet, but it's nice when they are wrong in your favor.
