Composite decking companies foster negative views of wood. It's called business. They can do that! -Calidecks

I hate feeling guilty I'm smoking food and not working on a Sunday.

Not guilty enough to do much though...

Change order kings love govt projects. Delays and change orders are the bread and butter.

One of the good ones is bidding assuming undisturbed soil or no rock. Site conditions can get you a 10% bump in project cost, maybe more.

Forget that a building is getting demo'd out, bid the build like everything is undisturbed, etc.

I did a bad thing. Put it in my shirt pocket while I leaned over to the passenger side of the Yukon to pick up a jug of Rain-X WW solvent.

I never put it in my shirt pocket.

But I did this time.

And I watched in slow mo as it slides out of my pocket kerplunk into the coffee mug I always have with me.

The one that ALWAYS has coffee in it.

ALWAYS...

I feel your pain.
The phone holder that fits into my CD player came out 2 weeks ago and the phone hit a coffee cup I had in the center holder.
Hit and cracked the edge of the screen. I get a wonderful strobe light show now. Phone still works but I'm assuming something is haywire as just a cracked screen shouldn't cause lights to blink.
S10+ here we come.

Re: Things I Hate (2)

I consider mine disposable, based on experience. Off the top of my head, one plowed into snow somewhere, one off in the woods somewhere, and a variety of crushes and smashes. I'm looking at 3 of those, and I'm sure there are more, all the way back to flip phones.

This is why I don't have good phones....

Re: Things I Hate (2)

I immediately performed CPR on it Liteerally. Could see spritzes of coffee com out corner of screen.

Brought it in, plugged it into laptop, and managed to retrieve all the latest photos - but no contacts.

Screen gets the vertical lines, then the horizontal lines, then blackness. And I can't actually turn it off. So I set it in front of a electric space heater, and let it steam ll night.

Now, I can get something of a screen but nothing works - touching tapping, etc. First thing today, call my iphone guru.Yeah, he'll do a water recovery, try a new screen , no guarantees, but I pay anyway. Which is fine.

And now I'm shopping for a new iPhone SE. Because I want one.

What kind of shoes was she wearing? If you can't get it right, can't claim you were just looking at her outfit...
