Re: Things I Hate (2)

When a potential customer rings me up and ask for a quote. So I get him his quote and he tells me alright he will have to think about it.

Fast forward and I get a call asking why I didn't show up today to do his work....

I must have missed the part where I'll think about it leaves it open for you to schedule yourself in and not consult me.

If he said I would like to move forward I would have followed up with I have the following availability.

I just don't understand some people and probably never will

If he wants you to be proactive then just send him an invoice next time, not an estimate.

Or ask if he's signed the contract and returned.

All wood sucks for anything outdoors. But then again I'm a little biased.

Forests, campfires work perfect with outdoor wood.

Lost by half a million dollars last year. It's now six months past due and $700,000 past my original bid which would have had limited if any change orders. I wonder what government employee got paid off for this? LOL
