Yes I thought of the drywall thing too. Because she wanted black it was a challenge getting all the components in the style she wanted. She kept pulling ideas off of Houzz so I had to fight that back as it is.

The style of sink didn't offer much room to move forward. As it was I needed to tweak it to fit.

Id take that over fiddling with a puller setup. You could always stick something down in the water to flip or pop the drain, like your toothbrush.

Could the vanity be moved off the wall a bit, and the gaps on each side covered with a trim piece?
