mix one or two teaspoons with a glass of water and the fresh juice of half a lemon.

i hate the taste of acv also but i can get it down this way.

it does have some very beneficial results.

ACV is harsh, just water it down until you can tolerate it. It will help your gut.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posca

Posca was the name of the mixture of vinegar and water which constituted the drink of the soldiers, the lower classes, and the slaves of ancient Rome.

Girolamo Cardano, in his Encomium Neronis of 1562, attributed the superiority of the Roman armies to only three factors: the great quantities of levies, their sturdiness and ability to carry heavy weights due to training, and good foods such as salted pork, cheese and the use of posca as a drink

Sucks. One truck runs amazing but the box is completely rusted underneath and literally disintegrating by the week. Iíll take pics tomorrow of how bad it is.

Other truck (same year) has no rust underneath but needs whatever they find to get it going plus 4 new tires and rear drum brakes. This truck only does 3k miles per year.

Iíve been fortunate that Iím the 18+ years Iíve had both trucks I havenít had to dump too much money into them until very recently.

F150 needs full exhaust including both cats and a tune up. Fun stuff

Busy yes. Killing it ? Nah. Most guys donít have a $40 an hour and $20 an hour guy going out and installing for them. There are so many guys doing this now that itís become a total rat race to the bottom.

Guys can set themselves up in business with a van , machine and everything they need for minimal amount of money. There are 6 other Mexican gutter guys at my yard alone. For many years it was me and another guy.

Personally I have a nice chunk of coin saved so I could lend the business money if I had to. Iím not fond of huge monthly payments. Iíve always preferred to run very lean.

That's worth everything to me. I'm never going to be a rich man doing what I'm doing but I love it AND get to enjoy life even if it means we have to forego a couple of life's luxuries.

My dad convinced me on my deathbed I'm never going to be upset I spent a little extra time with my wife and kids instead of in the shop working to get my wife a nicer vehicle.

Decided that day it was about low overhead, and maximum profit for minimal time.

Your doing it right.

Florida has really ****ty gutter companies that know nothing what they do to roofs... Only one custom guy I know of around here and three big companies.

Welcome to Florida brother

I'd be lying if I told you I've never made "the sandwich" without lettuce.

I prefer it with. I don't sit and eat lettuce off the head but I do enjoy it in a salad.

Off topic...

When I was in the cc biz, I was making Caesar salads table side. A single member brought a date and they ordered Caesar salads. She told me she didn't want any dressing on hers. I looked at the guy...he gave me kind of a "go ahead" signal.

I mixed it all up. Put his Romaine in the bowl with the dressing and tossed it. Put some naked Romaine in her bowl and served them up.

I asked if she wanted freshly ground pepper on hers.

You had to be there but it was pretty funny.

I don't think lettuce adds much to a BLT...infact I'm good with a toasted tomato sandwich... But it has many other culinary applications as well as sandwiches where it has it's place. Lettuce adds a bitter snap, a nice texture to bite into and protects a bun well from a juicy burger.

Lettuce has no value. It's nothing but a cheap filler for a lazy chef.
At least that's my perception of it.

I once ordered a sandwich at a "high end" sandwich joint run by a snooty wanna be chef. He chastised me soup nazi style.
When my sandwich was ready he yelled out my order ready for the "no lettuce guy!"
"How can you order a sandwich with no lettuce?" "The lettuce makes the sandwich!"

According to him anyway
