Have you heard about Google?
Or Bing?
Or Yahoo?

Maybe somebody can hook you up.

smh

Yeah...I've done a lot of researching and reading over the years.

And what pray-tell does that have to do with the health industry making their big money off welfare "fodder"?

You seem to not only to be the one confused....you also seem to be the one dodging the question.

You made the statement...

Quote:
The **** ed up medical system we have now is geared towards the profiteering off of local grown welfare fodder and that's the fact.
I asked if you had links. You replied yes.

Now I've asked you to supply links and you want to deflect to how much is spent on welfare. I'm assuming welfare means foodstamps, housing, etc, etc, etc.

So...where are the links stating how the medical industry "is geared towards the profiteering off of local grown welfare fodder"?

Quote:

C'mon yippy...you made the claim. Back it or shut up.

Why do you waste time posting if you're not going to take the topic seriously? There's P&R for that kind of posting...

I don't have a problem questioning sources and methods because there are lots of agenda's at play... so whether it's from a "beloved, right wing, conservative think tank" as you say or wherever, the costs themselves are quite relevant since they are passed along to businesses and employees...

But it's illustrative that you don't have a demarcation line you'd care to share as it relates to whether or not we provide the services you listed for life or only when people can't legitimately do for themselves...

If it's the former, the cost would be astronomical... especially if it extends to illegal immigration... as much as we'd like, we can't foot the bill for the whole world...

They aren't allowed to ask about their citizenship so the numbers are not accurate. Just like anything else that has to do with illegal aliens.

I'm too lazy? You post numbers from a Rand study because you thought it matched your posting and you stopped there... when it was shown how ridiculous the number you were relying on didn't hold water for your point, it didn't cause you to reflect and look at it more detail... if we don't drill down on the details what's the point?

Wordy you've got me on as I like to actually discuss things in depth and not resort to headline posting/click bait...

This is an important business discussion... How do those who wish to discuss the costs and impacts of healthcare (including healthcare rights) on business and employees discuss it to avoid it moving to P&R?...

If any of my posts are deemed P&R'ish, feel free to delete...

Rand is actually an open borders group. I also think they consider themselves libertarian. Some on the right are hardcore open borders because they like cheap and exploitable labor.

Looking at Rand corps political contributions they don’t look too conservative to me.

https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/rec...&id=D000036957

Out of roughly 100 there were 3 republicans, Karen handle, mitt Romney and another.

Here’s the top ten

Brownley, Julia (D-CA) House $3,000
Slotkin, Elissa (D-MI) House $2,543
McCaskill, Claire (D-MO) Senate $2,235
Heitkamp, Heidi (D-ND) Senate $2,011
Hartman, Christina (D-PA) House $2,000
O'Rourke, Beto (D-TX) House $1,675
Nelson, Bill (D-FL) Senate $1,405
Baer, Lauren (D-FL) House $1,349
Donnelly, Joe (D-IN) Senate $1,125
Helmer, Daniel (D-VA)

What does your link tell anyone...only that a bunch of money is spent on medicaid. Everyone knows that. It still doesn't address your statement.

Edit: BTW...I have the link you may be looking for. And...it proves your statement incorrect.

It's important because those costs DO get passed to businesses and employees in the form of increased premiums or taxes... the bills got to be paid...
