Lol I edited a scope of work and emailed a bunch of people before work started... leaving mama with a sick kid and possibly 2 sick kids isn't conducive for the happy wife theory. Lol

Wished I kept all my analog multimeters, every time I pick up a DMM to use it, the battery is dead.

Looks like great weather too.... Airbnb is bad ass too apparently.

Good thing I didn't go, the little one is just now getting better and the older one got 102.8 temperature from water getting trapped in your ear when swimming. LOL

Im going to go ahead and book for next year.

Amazon will soon have their own fleet of trucks here.

Lately most of my deliveries from Amazon come from their own trucks. You can always tell because normally it would say delivery before 8pm. Now it says before 9pm when they use their own. Plus they use a TBA****** number code which means you can't track it.

I'll get back to that travesty later, right now I have to replace the pull start rope on the field mower that won't start to figure out why it won't start.

Wierd. I just got my first before 9pm notice. I wonder if they are doing the same here. We do have a lot of one day deliveries available now.

Re: Things I Hate (2)

Just realizing that my spring job notebook is gone for good. It had all my measurements and customer contact info, details about jobs, pricing on small jobs, etc. Pretty much everything for summer work.

Uhg. Nothing like a fresh start I suppose.

Re: Things I Hate (2)

Just look at the delivery code. TBA***xx is the code for their own trucks around here. Not sure if it's a universal code for them or not. And I've never seen someone delivering a package so I don't know if it's a truck or a bicycle.

THAT. That is what I was given when I ordered that SSD from Amazon.

And, when I went to Amazon to check tracking (as others suggested), it went no where.

A couple weeks ago, I saw a ginormous Transit type van in the neighborhood with just "Prime" on the side. So I am a guessing this is the one that supposedly left Detroit and claimed it would be at my door that evening, and never showed.

I started taking smart phone pics of important stuff. Worse comes to worse, I can find it and print it out.

yup. A main reason I got and keep this iphone. Took a little while to get myself habituated to using it to snap pics of seemingly trivial stuff, but I'm getting better at it.

Example: Saw a protective case on rack for the phone - they didn't have one for my model. Snapped a pic, Googled it - and had one ordered just that fast.

It's good stuff, man.

Yep. If I'm writing down dimensions I usually try to take a pic of the paper after I'm done. It's on my phone and transported to the cloud also. Ticks me off when I forget to do it.

We all know about the hidden arrow in the Fed-EX logo, The swish for Amazon goes from the first A to the Z, so a clever little thing from a to z Amazon has it, unless you live in Hawaii because Jeff does not like dirty white boys it takes a little longer
