Things I Hate (2)

This is a continuation of our original "Things To Hate" thread.

Y'all sure hate a lot of things.

I hate that in 2018 there is still a limit on how long a thread can be. You'd think they would have figured that out way back in 2016 or something.

It feels so 2005.

Never mind. It is a voluntary restart. That makes more sense. I thought I had gone back in time.

I hate dealing with 4 inches of slush and getting soaked to the bone and freezing my butt off first thing. It makes not want to get back to work.

I hate drywalling a 12'6" ceiling. F this stupid 6" rip and the extra seam that comes along with it.

Go ahead, be like every old man I've ever talked to and say something about, "You know, they make 54" boards for a reason..."

Nobody is using the stupid 54" boards. They don't fit in my 48" truck.

Crazy wind again today , no way working 30- 40 ft in the air with the wind. Bad thing for us this time of the year always a lot of windy days.

Get it delivered. You make $800/day and want to save a few bucks on delivery? Isn’t your time worth more than the delivery charges?

Not getting the last hose rolled up after draining it last Wednesday, in the dark, before a 3 day deep freeze, because I had to run to the State Store, thinking they may close early, (you know state workers and holidays) then backing the truck in the driveway, a little to far to the right and totally flattening the male end of a pretty new 100' heavy duty rubber hose. :censored::furious:

They were open till 10:00 PM. an hour later than normal.
Happy Thanks:censored:giving! :red_indian:

You should get it delivered no matter how much you make... unless it's for a personal project, you ain't paying for it, the customer is... because if you're not charging to cover delivery, it's likely no-ones paying you for your time to get it, load it, deliver it and unload it, so it's costing YOU money (never mind wear and tear on your body)...

One of those little profit stealers that you can recapture...

It does need to be promoted. I was on here for years before I realized points were handed out. Yeah, I saw points on profile pic, but I had no idea why.

I still don't know what the points are all about. But I have em and somebody else wants them to help kids in need. Sounds good to me.

Now promote those TOYS FOR TOTS!
