Not really. We figure it is better that the air went out at the end of August rather than the end of May. As for the tranny, I have had them slip like this in the past, and sometimes you can nurse it along for quite a while. She works 2 miles from home, and is rarely more than 10 miles away. We have started looking, but I think we likely have several months before we get desperate.

So save yourself the 1200$ and tell her to roll down the windows!

I use my AC a handful of times in the summer and it's usually when someone else is in the car with me

So, it's 95 with 80% humidity and rolling down the window is suppose to help?

Please explain how, besides going 120 MPH

Live in Florida a few months. You'll be begging for a/c 9 months out of the year.

People like that deserve a special kind of punishment.

One of my last cases as a forensic investigator involved kids and a touchy uncle, after that case I just couldn't do the job anymore.

I don't know how police work those cases.

I appreciate your honesty! We are no where as large as you and I find similar problems with subs and schedule. It seems like when we do most of the work in house like on a remodel we can control things much better than when we rely on outside subs. We need them and don't want to do everything in house but damn! And in my small community we only have so many to chose from...

Lived in Fort Myers for 3 years and now I can't stand it when the mercury gets past 75 or so. Oh yeah, I'm really hating that summer won't go away. Bring on sweatshirt weather

Building a deck in a nasty backyard. People seem to think that a new deck will miraculously transform their backyard. Nope, now it's a nasty backyard with a nice new deck.

We sided a place once where we had to roll out half a roll of house wrap just to keep from drowning in dog crap.

My guy picks up dog poop every morning if the HO misses it. It's part of his duties. It's part of life as a deck builder.
