Putting chestnut inside the expedition only to realize after I shut the back that the truck was on and one of the pieces was resting on the lock button

Re: Things I Hate

Drive the truck up to the windmill and put the bottom of the ladder in the bed. This is where the beer comes in. Ed Zachary is another way of saying exactly......

As for how the woman got in here I don't know. And unless she's gonna be climbing the ladder in the truck, she can go get the beers....

Ya, I know sexist. Go to your safe spot then.

Yeah, he's got some rough ones. Not really a big fan. I'll stick to Merle and Waylon

No not a common site. It's a 100 year old farmhouse and windmill. Was fun to work on for something different. Here is a before pic.

Where we used to live, they would just whip it out and whizz while walking through the alley. Actually whizz while walking.

I used to love opening the door and yelling a big WTF are you doing in my alley. They'd usually piss on themselves.

Re: Things I Hate

Having to lean hard on subs to get them to do what they said they would do. Its unreal how upset the get with me for holding them accountable.

Lets be perfectly clear, this job will be done well, and it will be done well on time, and it would be awesome if that happened without bellyaching. If you dont want to do it someone else does/will.

No hard feelings on my end, a bunch on theirs when i put pressure on them. All of them are late, and i have always made that work, i move stuff around, whatever is needed. But once your here stay on the job and dont pull off. Finish it.

Word.

Funny now with that one GC who I get along with, how appreciative he is when he ask if/when I can do something and then do it and finish it. Dude bends over backwards for me now. He said he's had 3 other GC's ask if they could have my number. I don't want too much to do because then I won't be able to do the things that I do well now... On time, quality, and just generally doing what you say you will.

He seems to take great pleasure in telling them he has me sewn up for a few months

That's exactly why I only work for a few GCs. Can make more money and less stress doing a little good than a lot bad.
