What's a Black fly? Is It worse than a May Fly!!! If so. Then God bless you.! I'd rather walk through a swam of Horse flies than have to deal with one May fly!! Those little bastards are relentless !!!

They're tiny little flies that cluster around you and bite. The clustering is more annoying than the bite but the whole thing sure is annoying. They breed in big numbers usually around mid May, then the dragonflies hatch and clean them all up.

Didn't have much of a run on them this year. Horseflies were early, way early. Not usually any until late June early July, I was swatting some around the time that blackflies usually come out this year. Same with mosquitos...early but not many...Not that I'm complaining mind you

I hate blackflies also.
But another relentless and hard to kill fly is the Greenhead Fly that are predominately in Brigantine, NJ, but also along other shore points. When they bite, they take chunks.

I can't stand them.

Working on Sunday, 2 hours away. So 4 hours round trip and 5 hours for the job.

I'm not seeing the time stamps, so I didn't know. Some people are just rolling in from at night of partying around then... That could happen to Leo, right?

Day off was yesterday. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Saw some of the family, had a cook out. The weather wasn't that good until around 5pm but we stayed til 8pm. Nice day, good people, good food.

More installation tomorrow, maybe finish up the kitchen. But I'm betting we'll get most of the cabinets in but not the crown molding.

Ya, usually don't start posting on Sunday until 10am. Woke up at 6:30 even though my alarm was set for 7:00.

We have a fix for the missing time stamps and post number.

You are using AdBlock Plus I'm guessing.

You need to deactivate the filter ##.theAd

Or the forum software could just let ad block do what it was designed to do, instead of installing the vBulletin filters that are designed to countermand the extensions purpose.

Re: Things I Hate

The fact I just wasted my entire weekend doing online contractor renewal courses. Half of it was videos from home depot or some other yayhoo, then click three questions. The best was it cost me 120 bucks and I have three more hours on the state site. For 60 more bucks, then give the state 365 dollars tomorrow. Sweet.
